After DJing for a few years, I grew tired of the traveling. I had gigs lined up Thursday, Friday, Saturday from Athens to Cleveland, Pittsburgh to Cincinnati and Columbus to Parkersburg, with a little of everything in between. I loved doing it, but driving three hours home at 2 a.m. wears you down quickly. So I got into bartending. I made the same money, but I walked three blocks at the end of the night, instead of driving three hours.
